What to Expect with SmartLipo™

There is no discomfort associated with the SmartLipo™ LaserBodySculpting procedure because our patients are treated with a localized anesthetic to temporarily numb in and around the area to be treated. You may feel a slight pressure while undergoing the procedure, but it is mild sensation.
After the treatment there will be some minimal swelling and a little soreness. However, there is virtually no bleeding during the procedure, so swelling and bruising are very minimal. Most patients are able to return to work and normal activities in virtually no time at all. Healing is significantly accelerated with the SmartLipo treatment.
Typically only one treatment is required. Results can be seen within a week, with continued improvement over 3 to 6 months. A compression garment may be worn for a short period after treatment, depending on the body area treated.
